Ingenio El Pilar offers a diverse range of products derived from sugarcane processing, serving both local and international markets, as well as supporting sustainable uses and valuable byproducts.

Below is an overview of our main products:

Vitamin-Fortified White Sugar

Designed for the Guatemalan market, this refined sugar is enriched with essential vitamins to support consumer health and well-being. It is suitable for daily household use and for applications within the food industry.

Raw Sugar

Intended for export to international markets, this unrefined sugar retains its natural properties and is widely used in industrial production and as a raw material for further refining.

Molasses

A versatile byproduct used in the production of alcohol (such as rum or ethanol) and as a nutritious feed for livestock, thanks to its high sugar and nutrient content.

Caña

Dirigida al mercado local en Guatemala, esta azúcar refinada está fortificada con vitaminas esenciales para promover la salud y el bienestar de los consumidores. Es ideal para el uso diario en hogares y la industria alimentaria.

Filter Cake (Cachaza)

A solid material obtained from the filtration process, managed in an environmentally responsible manner for use as an organic fertilizer in sugarcane fields, enriching the soil and promoting sustainable agriculture.

CURRENT OPERATIONS

Today, the mill operates at 85% of its installed capacity, which is equivalent to a daily milling volume of approximately 17,000 tons of sugarcane. This results in a daily production of around 40,000 quintals of sugar.

This operational efficiency ensures a sustained contribution to the local economy and the supply of high-quality sugar.
